2990 RSM Takes Part in Northern Extreme Regional Expedition

Corps RSM, MWO Leach-Trudeau, is one of only 18 selected cadets taking part in the 8 day "Extreme" expedition which started today, March 7/2012. Following two days of pre-trip training at 22 Wing North Bay he and his fellow cadets will travel to the expedition location just east of South River, Ontario. They will then spend the next four days dog-sledding followed by two days of snowshoeing and winter survival training. We wish him all the best as he takes part in this exciting and challenging training.

If you are interested in following the progression of the expedition you can do so on Facebook - Central Region Army Cadet Expeditions Page - daily updates and pictures will be posted as they become available. You do not need to have a Facebook account to look at the pictures and posts. We welcome you to post comments and words of encouragement to the cadets. Every effort will be made to pass them on to the cadets during the expedition.
